15-day suspension of CNG ban on public transport

The first round of talks between the petroleum ministry and the CNG Association on Monday failed to bring the strike by the dealers to an end.

The first round of talks between the  petroleum ministry and the CNG Association on Monday failed to bring the strike by the dealers to an end.
The government however, suspended the ban on CNG for public transport for 15 days.
The CNG dealers have decided to continue their strike after failure of talks. Federal Minister of Petroleum Dr Asim has said, " We have to solve the gas crisis by our own, no one will come to solve the problem."
President All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) Ghiyas Paracha has said the government has offered the dealers for resumption of talks. He said the government will have to review its Gas Load Management Plan.
The government later suspended the ban on CNG for public transport for 15 days.
