MQM might be joining the government after Eid.

HYDERABAD: Former Sindh senior minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza said on Tuesday that he would no longer be taking part in the country's politics.
Addressing a press conference here, Mirza said that Hyderabad was like a lap of mother for him. Senior Minister said that he was currently passing through the most crucial phase of his life.
He said that he had worked in armed forces for four years but General Zia ul Haq sacked him for not casting vote in referendum.
Meanwhile, speaker Sindh Assembly, Nisar Khuro said the resignation of Zulfiqar Mirza had been accepted and a decision on his party membership would be made soon, our sources reported Tuesday.
He added that the operation in Karachi would continue and statements made by Zulfiqar Mirza were in violation of party discipline.
Agha Siraj Durrani who arrived from Islamabad along with Nisar Khuro hinted that the MQM might be joining the government after Eid.
Durrani refused to comment on statements made by Zulfiqar Mirza, saying that it was his personal matter. However he did say that action would be taken against those who violate party disciple no matter how senior they are.
