Karachi violence should end: DG ISPR

Islamabad—Expressing concerns about security situation in Karachi, Pak Army says that every type of violence grappling the city of Quaid should end.

In an interview with British broadcaster Saturday, DG ISPR Major General Athar Abbas said law and order situation in Karachi affects the entire country. He said rangers are acting in Karachi on the basis of information being provided by intelligence agencies.

Maj-Gen Abbas said it was the duty of law enforcement agencies to take indiscriminate action in the city.
