ISLAMABAD: The notification of appointment of Managing Director, Oil and Gas Development Company Ltd (OGDCL), Adnan Khwaja has been revoked on the orders of Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Geo News reported Thursday.According to a press statement issued by the Prime Minister House, the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Resources has been directed to withdraw the notification and make a new appointment strictly on merit.
His selection as MD OGDCL was challenged in the Supreme Court on plea that he has been a NAB convicted and ineligible for any government post for 10 years.
